This Inside Sales representative opportunity is an excellent position for someone with sales experience, friendly customer service skills experience. In this role, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing proactive notification to customers on new and renewing contracts on equipment OEM by Abiomed. Responsible to grow shareholder value through service solutions to new and existing customers that own Abiomed equipment. Other responsibilities include support to US Commercial Sales Team as it relates to service agreements and the dissemination of information about program details to customers. Below are main responsibilities for supporting the company's sales goals through great customer service, maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and providing sales coverage by performing the following duties.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to navigate different applications to capture service, product utilization and sales history in preparation for customer negotiations
  • Ability to use Salesforce to schedule activities, record interactions with customer, create and manage opportunities, build, and edit contact information
  • Answer incoming sales calls via telephone, written inquiries, and email requests for service agreement related matters
  • Check and follow up on schedules and lead time for orders and opportunities
  • Clarify and fulfill customer requests by communicating various selections of products and services providing pricing information in accordance with Abiomed's menu
  • Build monthly and quarterly sales forecast and present to team and department head
  • Crafting Service Contracts quotation and present to customers and Abiomed field sales team
  • Filing, organizing, and maintaining sales tools, customer information, and product information in Abiomed CRM
  • Generate Sales Reports and service deliverable reports as requested
  • Promote and effectively sell Abiomed service products by the stablished company sales techniques with approved authorization from Manager
  • Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner by strategizing plan in line with company yearly objectives
  • Work with and collaborate with legal departments to find common understanding to terms and condition on the service agreement
  • Work with CAM and SAM to offer service solution on Abiomed equipment owned by customer
  • Work with Field Service operations to decrease aging reports
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Qualifications
  • BA/BS University degree required with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of industry sales experience
  • Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems required
  • Position requires extensive phone skills and high degree of organization with general proficiency in the use of MS Office, SAP and Salesforce.com.
