Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing accounting processes for numerous areas including monthly billings and reconciliations, in compliance with company standards.

How you make an impact:
  • Supporting the Senior Accountant in charge of real estate entities including entering bills, issuing invoices to tenants and tracking of leases (e.g. rent changes, expiration dates)
  • Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursement, cash receipts for the real estate entities
  • Year-end closing of general ledger and 1099 preparation for multiple entities
  • Respond to inquiries from and provide requested reporting to vendors, staff, and other departments
  • Provide general accounting support to include, but not limited to, journal entries and monthly reconciliations
  • Perform periodic and year-end reviews of general ledger detail for accuracy for multiple entities
  • Support Controller in month-end and year-end close process, including monthly customer billing and accruals
  • Assist with other general accounting duties
Skills you will need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) and a minimum of three years working in the accounting field
  • Ability to work in a multi-company, fast-paced and quickly changing environment
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work independently, timely and accurately
  • Must be organized, able to multitask, with strong attention to detail
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with QuickBooks a plus
  • Full time, on-site position
