Job Description

Shared Services: Information Systems, App Svcs (Full-Time, Day Shift, Hybrid) -

Job Summary: The IS Service Delivery Manager serves as a liaison between the LLUSS Information Services department and their designated partners and service groups. Develops and maintains an ongoing relationship with their respective partners and groups through regular meetings, observation and communication. Understands Electronic Health Record (EHR) processes that affect the partners and communicates information regarding these activities to the respective groups. Communicates system issues and questions that affect the partners to the IS department and brings together the best resources to resolve any issue. Reviews and analyzes respective partner's performance through various reports to identify trends, issues or concerns and routinely share this analysis with the group leadership. Analyzes data and proactively communicates key operating information to the partners. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum five years of experience in a healthcare Information Systems department, healthcare operations, or similar experience required. Minimum one year of Epic experience preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of Degree.

Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the partner's operations including the scope of services provided, Epic Software, general business processes, and IS processes preferred. Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications: Valid Driver's License required at time of hire.
