JLL has opportunities for Seasonal Marina Dockhand help! You will be responsible for the maintenance of the docks, gangways, power pedestals, and supporting structures.
What will some of your day look like? Cleaning docks, gangways, and power pedestals.
Preserving the docks through weather-proofing applications and maintaining the docks by securing or replacing loose or worn boards
Replacing worn pile guide rollers and soft joins that help hold the dock sections together
Cleaning all in-water structures of excessive growth of sea life and emptying trash totes
Polish the rails, replace non-skid strips, runners, transition plates, and end rollers on gang-ways
Ensure power pedestals are functioning
Coil electrical cords and hoses to remove trip hazards and replace light bulbs
Assist in docking boats, line tending, slip assignment and locations, communicating with boaters, and assisting boaters in locating land-based necessities
Hook boaters up to pedestal services, collect fees, sell ice, deliver mail and packages, issue dock carts, and help with cargo and provisions.
