What We DoThe Systems Administrator role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, patching, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Systems Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Essential Functions

  • Receives work assignments through the "ticketing system" or from, Lead Administrators or management.
  • Performs server software installation and maintenance tasks. These tasks range from standard in nature to complex.
  • Installs and maintains infrastructure management tools.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs, alerts, and reports to identify and resolve issues.
  • Provides advanced problem identification and resolution support services as well as performance monitoring and capacity planning support.
  • Plays a principal role in the development and implementation of departmental workflow automation processes and procedures.
  • Ensures the security, availability, performance, and scalability of our enterprise directory and collaboration infrastructure.
  • A point of contact for internal and external customers, providing technical guidance and support for collaboration and directory services offerings.
  • Key contributor with technical evaluations and "proof of concept" programs as it relates to evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools.
  • Required to provide on-call support during off-duty hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays on a scheduled/rotating basis.
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.


Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

Collaboration/Microsoft 365 and Windows Directory Services Engineer

  • Design, install, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory, ADFS, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and other related technologies.
  • Administer Active Directory DNS and BlueCat Enterprise DNS to ensure the reliability and security of our domain name system.
  • Support and administer Proofpoint email gateway and security platforms.
  • Knowledge of email delivery principles and authentication, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, etc.
  • General knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud virtualization platforms.
  • Basic organization skills to balance and prioritize assigned work.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-cultural, multi-location, team.

Typical Education

  • Generally requires BS Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Range of Experience

License or Certification

Pay Range: $71,500 - $ 148,500

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
