Core Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician:

* Read and understand engineering drawings to Assemble and Wire components.

* Set up and Assemble controllers in a timely manner, ship on-time.

* Produce high quality products.

* Check all Assembled parts to the dimensions specified on the engineering drawing and conform to all certification requirements.

* Maintain a safe work environment.

* Participate in continuous improvement activities.

* Work to verbal and written instructions.

* Support an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates.

Qualifications:

* 5 years' experience

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics

* Ability to work independently.

* Good math skills

* Know and understand "Quality at the Source"

* Understand and practice safe working methods

* Assembly experience

* Be willing to work to ISO / QS 9000 standards and have a commitment to continuous
improvement

Education Requirements:

* High School Graduate or G E D

  • Peabody, MA 01960: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
