Summary:

In this role, you will develop a customer-specific contract strategy to reduce spending and craft savings solutions, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value and ultimately achieve a higher level of member satisfaction by becoming a trusted adviser. You will achieve these results and trusted advisor status through the development of key interpersonal relationships with members and lop customized contract strategy recommendations to reduce spend, improve operational efficiencies, maximize delivered value, and ultimately achieve a higher level of member satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze requests for proposals when determining recommendations.
  • Manage assigned cost-savings projects from initiation to completion, identifying differences in member and supplier experiences and adjusting approach accordingly.
  • Ensure contract compliance with terms and conditions necessary to achieve cost savings.
  • May support management of vendor relationships in order to cross-reference, organize in-services, schedule trials, and resolve issues with products.
  • Calculate, analyze, and interpret cost data to recommend cost savings opportunities and process improvements.
  • Design and assists with delivering communications to key stakeholders regarding recommendations, successes, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. MBA or Master's Degree a plus.
  • 2 or more years' relevant experience working in a contracting, contract management, or supply chain-related role required.
  • Ability to effectively present information in a summary fashion, utilizing Microsoft tools required.
  • Health care contracting background with experience in successful contract negotiations preferred.
  • Must possess strong relationship-building and strategic partnering skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$77,400.00 - $115,050.00
