About the team
Worldpay defines Alternative Payment Methods (APMs)as payment methods other than traditional branded schemes credit and debit card payments e.g. Visa, Mastercard. We have the largest portfolio of APMs available, with over 300 payment methods. With 40 years' experience, we work with customers to define the right mix of APMs for the markets they choose to do business in. APM types include bank transfers, eWallets, Post-Pay and many more
What you will be doing
Creating system architecture; making sure teams are aligned
Owner of the architectural vision; how to apply it in projects
Technical understanding across the stack; oversight of how technical knowledge is applied to projects
Identify, propose, articulate, communicate architectural initiatives
Solution design, estimation, understanding execution and delivery progress
What you bring:
Solid understanding of Domain Driven Design and how to decompose applications into domain capabilities
Come up with architectural runways and estimates for new initiatives and APM products
Solid understanding of modern software engineering techniques with a passion for software craftmanship
Creating, evolving reusable and cross-cutting architecture; setting architectural patterns
Proven track record of designing 5 9's resilient-architecture patterns to support operational excellence
Added bonus if you have:
Experience operating in an agile environment is important, ideally using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Have wide-ranging experience, using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
We are also looking for program implementation skills, including project portfolio management and the planning, reporting and directing the work of others across multiple implementation projects concurrently
