We are seeking a Sonographer Student Intern for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The Sonographer Student Intern helps perform Imaging studies of various parts of the body under direct supervision of staff Sonographer to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

What will you do in this role:

  • You will assist positioning and preparing patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
  • You will assess patients throughout procedures and respond to patient needs
  • You will complete appropriate documentation for each study being performed
  • You will assist the medical sonographer with performing sonograms

What qualifications you will need for this role:

  • Current Basic Life Support ( BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. and American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in and in the final semester of an accredited school of ultrasound
  • Must have positive recommendation from instructor
